Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA) Test

What to do in the test?

During the test, you will be expected to respond to loud and soft sounds at low to high frequencies. The softest sound that you can hear at each tested frequencies will be plotted onto a chart knowingly as an audiogram.

What can I get from my test?

An audiologist will use the information from your audiogram to interpret the level of your hearing and the causes of your hearing loss.

Who will perform the test on me?

At Tune, the audiologist will be responsible for your needs in hearing from A-Z.

Am I eligible to be tested?

PTA test requires the tested person to respond independently, which is why, it is only suitable for adult and children of older ages.

How long will the test be?

Depending on your respond and the complexity of your case, the test can be about fifteen minutes or longer.
